The Smok Nord Coils are available in different resistance levels. As a result, each type of coil has its own effect. Below we will explain the different types.

1.4 ohm Regular
The 1.4 ohm regular Nord coil has a resistance of above 1 ohm. That is why the 1.4 ohm coil is very suitable for mouth to lung (MTL) use. MTL is a way of inhaling that is comparable to the traditional cigarette. This coil is made for e-liquids with a high nicotine strength and works up to 12w. We recommend a maximum of 50% VG e-liquid for this coil.

1.4 ohm Ceramiic
The 1.4 ohm Ceramic Nord coil has a resistance of above 1 ohm. That is why the 1.4 ohm coil is very suitable for mouth to lung (MTL) use. MTL is a way of inhaling that is comparable to the traditional cigarette. This coil has a ceramic construction and is therefore more durable in use. We recommend a maximum of 50% VG e-liquid for this coil.

0.8 ohm MTL Mesh

The 0.8 ohm MTL Mesh coil has a resistance of below 1 ohm. Therefore, the 0.8 ohm coil provides a strong mouth to lung experience. With this coil you can inhale like a cigarette. The filament of this coil has a mesh structure for full flavor and a lot of vapor. The recommended setting for this coil is 16W maximum. This coil is a lot stronger than the 1.4 ohm version. We recommend at least 50% VG e-liquid for this coil.

0.6 ohm mesh

The 0.6 ohm Nord coil has a resistance of under 1 ohm. Therefore, the 0.6 ohm coil is suitable for direct lung or strong mouth to lung use. With this coil you can inhale like a bong or like a cigarette. The filament of this coil has a mesh structure for full flavor and a lot of vapor. The recommended setting for this coil is 20-25W. Thanks to the mesh coil, the 0.6 ohm Nord Mesh coil delivers more flavor and vapor than regular coils. We recommend at least 50% VG e-liquid for this coil.
