The resistances (ohms)

The Vaporesso GTX Coils are available in different resistances. As a result, each type of coil has its own effect.

0.2 ohm
Mesh coil
The 0.2 ohm mesh coil for the Vaporesso PM80 has a resistance of under 0.5 ohms. Therefore, the 0.2 ohm coil is suitable for direct lung use. With this coil you can inhale like a water pipe. The filament of this coil has a mesh structure for full flavor and a lot of vapor. The recommended setting for this coil is between 45 and 60 watts. We recommend at least 70% VG e-liquid for this coil.

0.3 ohm Mesh coil

The 0.3 ohm Mesh coil has a resistance of under 0.5 ohm just like the 0.2 ohm. Therefore, the 0.3 ohm coil is very suitable for direct lung (DL) use. Because this coil has a higher ohm than the 0.2 ohm variant, it produces slightly less flavor and vapor but is more economical with e-liquid and the battery. This coil is made for intense flavor with full vapor and works best between 32 and 45watt. We recommend at least 70% VG e-liquid for this coil.

0.6 ohm mesh
The 0.6 ohm GTX coil has a resistance of under 1 ohm. Therefore, the 0.6 ohm coil is suitable for direct lung or strong mouth to lung use. With this coil you can inhale like a bong or like a cigarette. The filament of this coil has a mesh structure for full flavor and a lot of vapor. The recommended setting for this coil is 20-30W. Thanks to the mesh filament, the 0.6 ohm GTX Mesh coil provides more flavor and vapor as regular coils. We recommend at least 50% VG e-liquid for this coil.

0.8 ohm MTL Mesh
The 0.8 ohm MTL Mesh coil has a resistance of under 1 ohm. Therefore, the 0.8 ohm coil provides a strong mouth to lung experience. With this coil you can inhale like a cigarette. The filament of this coil has a mesh structure for full flavor and a lot of vapor. The recommended setting for this coil is 12-20w. This coil is a lot stronger than the 1.2 ohm variant. We recommend at least 50% VG e-liquid for this coil.

1.2 ohm Regular
The 1.2 ohm regular GTX coil has a resistance above 1 ohm. That is why the 1.2 ohm coil is very suitable for mouth to lung (MTL) use. MTL is a way of inhaling that is comparable to the traditional cigarette. This coil is made for high nicotine strength e-liquids and works best from 8 to 12w. We recommend a maximum of 50% VG e-liquid for this coil.
